everything was once something else is a two site exhibition by Los Angeles based artist Roksana Pirouzmand, presented at JOAN and OXY ARTS. Working with clay and metal, she creates site specific sculptures and installations activated by vibration and sound. Movements in one space generate resonances that travel between sites, shaping processes of erosion, memory, and embodied transmission.
