This exhibition brings together photographs by Laura Aguilar, Reynaldo Rivera, George Rodriguez, Patssi Valdez, and Ricardo Valverde, examining how their practices reshaped representations of Chicano/a communities in Los Angeles during the late 20th century. Drawing from documentary, staged, and popular visual cultures, the works reflect diverse approaches that expanded the possibilities of photographic expression.
