A group presentation featuring paintings that proceed by refusal—erasures, revisions, and painted-over structures—where what has been canceled is as present as what remains visible, exploring abstraction and negation as artistic strategies.
Lucrecia Zappi was born in Argentina and grew up in Brazil; she lives and works in New York. An award-winning novelist with three books published internationally, she has also written visual arts journalism for Folha de S. Paulo. Before this solo debut she showed in two Central Fine group exhibitions and in a group presentation at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025.
