Dear Julia, curated by Jon Kessler, celebrates the late artist Julia Jalowiec and her time in Columbia's MFA program. Rather than a survey, the show gathers video clips, slide shows, souvenirs from her classmates, and original artwork into a visual love letter. It reflects on friendship, community, memory, and loss, alongside Jalowiec's installation-based work and its use of humor and the grotesque.
