Walter Maciel Gallery presents a solo exhibition of new work by Berkeley-based artist Cynthia Ona Innis, on view November 7, 2026 through January 16, 2027. Innis explores environmental transitions and shifting terrains in layered, process-driven works, staining satin, silk, velvet, and other fabrics with ink and acrylic paint, then cutting and collaging them onto wood panel, canvas, and paper to evoke the fluid transformations that occur in the natural world.
