Cydney Lewis sources discarded and found materials from her environment to create collages and sculptural assemblages addressing Black consumer culture on Chicago's South Side. Working between commutes and downtime, Lewis uses a phone app to layer her hand-cut collages with digital drawings. Her related Streetside project illustrates states of reflection and renewal.
