Composite Order is an exhibition by Malcolm Kenter examining architectural ornament and utility through sculptural works composed of layered textures and materials. Drawing from classical column orders and contemporary urban surfaces, the works combine patina, decay, and craft to reflect contradictions within the built environment. Installed as a unified grouping, the sculptures emphasize density, surface, and the tension between ornament and function.
