JOAN presents Ali Eyal: Colorful Landscapes from New England, curated by Suzy Halajian as part of the space’s Chapter Three. The accompanying text casts Eyal as a New England–raised painter devoted to the French and American Impressionists, who turned to oil painting late in life and finds escape in rendering winter scenes of red barns, white snow, and bright blue skies across all four seasons.
