Christine Safa: Noces

Christine Safa’s *Noces* brings together new oil paintings of sunflowers, doves, vines, figures and indigo horizons drawn from what she sees every day. In her words, planes become birds, roofs become mountains and treetops form a horizon that could be the sea. Holding memories of war against a hard-won calm, the paintings capture what she calls the poetry of daily life, moments she wants to remember forever.
