Chris Lux’s *I’d sit inside a bottle and pretend that I was in a can* pairs paintings of friends from the late 1990s and early 2000s with stained glass that casts colored light across the gallery. Using thrifted fabrics and discarded paints, Lux draws on Roman frescoes, Post-Impressionism, absinthe bars, and psychedelic culture to explore friendship, memory, hedonism, and the layered experience of looking back.
