Caguiat Delacruz presents a newly commissioned multimedia exhibition centered on a film following two characters, Wesley and his dog Chips, and Hiroko, wandering the streets of Oakland and fields of Half Moon Bay dressed as Charlie Chaplin's iconic Tramp character. The exhibition creates an immersive environment incorporating the film alongside deconstructed production sets repurposed as furniture, drawings, production stills, paintings, prints, and ephemera. Through humor and pathos, the artists reflect on the art market's demands on artists and critique San Francisco's changing social landscape as tech companies displace working-class communities.
