Timed to the world's biggest soccer tournament as it lands in the New York area, this seventh solo show with the gallery brings together new paintings and an animation exploring the imagery and collective experience of sports. Stadiums, athlete portraits, and moments of anticipation are rendered in the artist's graphic language of abstract forms and bold color, drawing on Pop art and ukiyo-e.
