black/backroom is a solo exhibition by David Antonio Cruz at PES Futures. The immersive installation continues the artist’s exploration of Queer Brown histories, addressing loss, desire, and his grandparents’ land in Puerto Rico. Layered wallpaper with floral imagery from Philadelphia, Puerto Rico, and New York envelops the gallery, extending Cruz’s interdisciplinary practice.
