Between the Noise by Ian Wellman explores the ecologies and infrastructures of LA’s Arroyo Seco through immersive sound and video. In collaboration with Trevor Baker, Wellman documents the connections between human and nonhuman activity along the stream using advanced field recording techniques. The exhibition invites viewers to engage with the environment’s subtle acoustics, offering a sensory narrative of the waterway as a vital, dynamic presence.
