A solo presentation by Berkeley-based artist Amrita Singhal in Kala's Mercy and Roger Smullen Print & Media Study Center. Born in India to a family steeped in literature, music, and art, Singhal moved to California as a teenager and came to a full-time studio practice after careers in law and parenting. Her works combine monotype, etching, oils, and pastels on printmaking paper and linen, shaped by her early years in India and her travels around the world.
