French artist Amelie Ducommun presents abstract works exploring time, memory, and the memory of water, a thread she has pursued for more than fifteen years. Conceived as memory maps of places crossed—nebulae of remembered sensation—her fluid compositions of line and color seek balance between movement and stillness. Trained at ENSAD Paris and the University of Barcelona, Ducommun is a former Casa de Velazquez resident whose work is held by NAMOC and Fundacion Miro.
