Swiss Institute presents Saodat Ismailova’s first U.S. solo exhibition, centered on the premiere of Amanat (2026). Drawing on Central Asian myth, ritual, and shifting histories, the film traces a sacred walnut forest as a site of memory, belief, and geopolitical change. Sculptures and immersive sound extend this inquiry, considering how myth, dreams, and the senses carry responsibility, loss, and transformation across time.
