Et al. presents *Alive! With Pleasure*, Rainen Knecht’s first exhibition with the gallery. Thirteen new works combine painting with sculptural frames, drawing on myth, fairy tales, body horror, and pop culture. Inspired in part by caring for her dying mother, Knecht explores the body as both beautiful and grotesque, finding humor, transformation, and pleasure amid mortality and loss.
