*Afterlives* brings contemporary art into dialogue with Byzantine Egyptian funerary objects to explore death, remembrance, and visions of the afterlife. Pairing ancient jewelry, textiles, vessels, and sculpture with works from the 1960s to today, the exhibition traces enduring traditions of memorials, reliquaries, and protective objects across centuries, revealing how artists continue to confront mortality and imagine what lies beyond.
