Hoffman Donahue presents Adam Alessi: fullmoon, a body of work born from the artist’s near-death experience. The paintings meditate on the fragility of consciousness, mortality, and time’s passage, moving from serenity to unease while reflecting existential awareness. Personal yet universal, they evoke nostalgia, ritual, and the persistence of memory. Created after relocating to New York, the works remain intimate, made without a studio to stay close to daily life.
