* A well of night* presents new and reimagined works by Thea Djordjadze, whose sculptural environments respond to architectural space, modernist design, and Georgian cultural memory. For her first New York exhibition with the gallery, Djordjadze transforms its neo-Renaissance interior through spatial interventions and the dialogue of existing and new works. Vitrines and layered plaster-and-pigment paintings blur distinctions between painting, sculpture, and architectural form.
