James Fuentes presents Teruko Yokoi’s *A Pacific Line*, the Japanese-Swiss painter’s first Los Angeles solo exhibition in over four decades. Spanning 1954–2005, the exhibition traces Yokoi’s independent dialogue between Japanese tradition and postwar Western modernism through paintings on canvas and paper, including her distinctive egg-tempera works with hand-mixed pearlescent and metallic pigments.
