NODE's inaugural exhibition and the first devoted to CryptoPunks, created by Matt Hall and John Watkinson of Larva Labs in 2017. The show presents CryptoPunks as a living artwork: a self-running system whose marketplace is foregrounded as an integral part of the art, where every offer, bid, sale and transfer is both an economic and an aesthetic event. Installations include a panoramic display of all 10,000 Punks, the 221-color palette, a real-time marketplace feed, and Beeple's Diffuse Control. Curated by Amanda Schmitt.
