The CalArts Winter Dance Festival presents commissioned works by choreographers Bernard Brown, Crystal Jackson Singletary, Rosanna Tavarez and Odessa Uno, performed by students of The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance. Each choreographer brings their own movement language, lived experience and historical legacies to the question of how the next generation of diasporas dances, in a shared evening of contemporary dance.
