Organized by GYOPO and tied to the gallery exhibition *Flesh Witness*, *As Ocean People* gathers diasporic Asian Pacific Islander artists and scholars to examine the legacies of U.S. militarization and war, Indigenous resistance and environmentalism across the Pacific. The two-day program mixes panel conversations, screenings of works by Crystal Z Campbell, Sean Connelly, Tuan Andrew Nguyen and Jane Jin Kaisen, soundscapes and performance.
