Sarah Ippolito

Sarah Ippolito (b. 1986, Houston, TX) is a Los Angeles-based artist working in sculpture, installation, and drawing. Informed by time spent underwater as a scuba diver, her biomorphic sculptures use vivid color, texture, and magnified scale to explore ocean biodiversity and the sensory worlds of nonhuman organisms. She holds a BFA from the University of Houston and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
