Pedro Reyes (b. 1972, Mexico City) is a Mexico City-based artist who trained as an architect. His sculpture, installation and participatory projects playfully investigate form, history and social change, including a series of monumental carved volcanic-stone portraits of philosophers. He has had solo exhibitions at the Hammer Museum, Walker Art Center, Guggenheim Museum and Creative Time.
