Nevena Prijic (b. 1985, Belgrade, Serbia) is a Los Angeles–based painter known for her biomorphic, abstract works exploring transformation and hybridity. Drawing from the ancient Vinča culture and futuristic design, Prijic creates layered compositions where organic and mechanical forms merge—suggesting evolution beyond human boundaries. Her vivid color palettes and translucent layers evoke bodies in flux, bridging nature, technology, and mythology. Educated at the University of Novi Sad, she immigrated to the U.S. in 2017. Prijic’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at M+B Gallery, Bozomag, and the Worcester Art Museum, where her mural “Voyager” reflects her fascination with interconnected life and continuous becoming.
