Inma Barrero (b. 1969, Almendralejo, Spain) is a multidisciplinary artist rooted in ceramics, working across sculpture, installation and sound. Her large sculptures are built from hundreds of handmade beads evoking seeds and prayer beads, and explore womanhood, motherhood, community and repair. She has exhibited at Kyotographie and Instituto Cervantes, New York, and is in the collection of the Hispanic Society Museum and Library.
