Falon Stutzman

Falon Stutzman (b. 1984, Silver Spring, MD; lives and works in Omaha) paints interior states with raw immediacy, using a restrained palette and cinematic cropping to stage figures in moments of deep feeling. Her work evokes New Wave film intimacy and stylized archetypes of women in uncertain environments. BFA, Columbus College of Art and Design; solos at Megan Mulrooney, Kishka, and The Door; New American Paintings 2024.
