Andrea Bowers

Andrea Bowers (b. 1965) is an American artist whose work across video, drawing and installation combines art with activism, addressing social and political inequities and the activists working for a fairer world. Her work was the subject of a survey at the Hammer Museum and MCA Chicago and a solo exhibition at Glenstone, and is in the collections of MoMA, the Whitney, the Hirshhorn and Tate Modern.
