Allora & Calzadilla are an artist duo, Jennifer Allora (b. 1974, Philadelphia) and Guillermo Calzadilla (b. 1971, Havana), based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, who have collaborated since 1995. Their sculpture, video, sound, performance and social interventions address geopolitics, militarism, labor and ecology, often through surreal treatments of massive machines. They represented the U.S. at the 2011 Venice Biennale.
