The Orders
The Orders is an excavation of the iconography of Freemasonry, transporting the often mystified material culture of a secret society into the digital and highly public realm of web3. Mirroring the Masonic degrees, whose ranks are as much heralded as they are critiqued, The Orders, present artworks that evolve in both complexity and rarity, and signify three different Masonic points of transformation – the individual, the collective, and lastly, time, death, and the order of all things.

The Orders transpires in the realm of web3 where the good, bad, and ugly of secrecy, image making and community are put into a dynamic and sudden set of entanglements.—Nato Thompson, Artistic Director, Artwrld
